"FASTER FASTER UNTIL THE THRILL OF SPEED OVERCOMES THE FEAR OF DEATH"
I've owned this bike for about 3 years. Originally bought to do a cafe racer, I quickly got bored with the idea of doing just another racer, so I decided to give it a story. The theme is FAIRGROUND, WALL OF DEATH. A nod to the past and those men and women who lived to ride the wall. The '75' comes from it being a 750 and the main number in the registration is 75. Clever eh :)
I searched long and hard to find a doner bike that was in great shape (see pic) . Knowing that what I needed to do was mostly cosmetic with afew chops and changes to the rear. The paint is chunky 70's style metalflake, professionally painted to match the wee open face helmet (inculded) The 75's have been hand-overpainted in a 'Waltzer' style, Just as they would at the fairground, along with the rose of death an poison ivy. "Very 70's custom scene"... over killer metalflake and super heavy clearcoat.
Lots of little hand fabricated touches around the bike, like the perforated side covers, Handmade front fender as well as the rear being looped and light fixtures all welded in place.
Full build photos are available to show the strip and build process and details.
