Tell us about your bike

My name is Massimo Zancai and I am running a shop in Italy called “La motocicletta” and I am selling this bike here because I have an UK person as a reference in England that you can talk with.

I've spent the last fifteen years in the carbon fiber field as a consultant and I've often worked for motorcycle industry as a prototyper realizing the details of the novelties that were presented at the fairs.

I have always had the passion for motorbikes since childhood and lately I've fallen in love with the rock style of cafe racers and since history brings us to England in the '60s I decided to start with a great English classic... the Triumph Bonneville.

I chose a 2007 Bonnie as a classic bike because it's the latest carburetos model and this bike in particular because it had only one owner and low mileage all documented with the official Triumph coupons, so it seems to be a very good base to start, it is almost a brand new bike but with carburators, a perfect match.

I've changed the front preferring upside down forks that give the bike a more performance line, the choice falls on the Kawasaki ZX-10R forks because they have DLC treatment on the stems (diamond like carbon) that gives it more durability in time against scratches and wear.

The double discs brake are mounted on a spoke wheel to keep a vintage style using a Harley Davidson Sportster’s hub.

The tachometer has been converted to digital in order to keep the font cleaned (no sheaths exposed except the brakes) because the sensor is mounted on the rear wheel.

The entire front is supported by CNC Ergal plates.

The tank is standard but the colors are typical of the 60s, strengthened by the historic logo of the motorcycle house foundation.

The saddle was made by my own and it is slimmer than the original one to give the bike a more racing line, it includes the rear light.

Ohlins rear shocks have are 1” shorter than the original, so it lower the bike’s center of gravity.

Other small details such as the pinion crankcase and front light holder have been lightened. I do hope that this bike fills your heart as it has mine.

The price quoted includes shipping to the UK

ciao Mass
