Brought the bike early 2017. I rode it home and it ran perfect! but was a plain silver basic bike that needed a pick up.
We completly striped the bike down and everything was checked and rebuilt.
The frame was welded with the classic cafe racer loop with a custom seat to fit. The unique part is the rear hump can be removed meaning you can get someone on the back but still maintain the classic look.
dropped bars and daytona gauges really give the bike a great feel and the engine has more then enough power to use 'the full' speedo...
while the engine was out we couldnt help but making a bit more grunt. the xjr engines are easy to tune and really breath well. With bigger inlets, timing advancer, high flow air filter and open exhuast mufflers all really come together with carburettors that are tuned to perfection.
you can pull away and run straight to the top end without any hesitation or skips! it has a great size and weight to it so if your cruising round town or running it up through epping, the bike just pulls and pulls!
If your looking for that step up in power the this is the bike for you! just recently had some tires and oil chenge etc. i always keep my bikes well maintained including recently having a new MOT.
i will say the rear hump is fibreglass and is showing some bubbling but it been like that the whole time ive had it and never made a difference to me.
