I have been riding and modifying motocycles since I was a kid.

Nothing has changed ever since. I love classic motorcycles, the most of all Ducati. I like Scramblers, but rather the older models.

Once I thought why not to build my own motorcycle, that I could ride through mountain landscape off road in southern Poland... My base was – nothing else – but Ducati. Ducati Hypermotard 1100S 2010, my own motocycle that I have been in love with for 5 years.

In my Dream Scrambler the line is the most important.  Beatiful frame of Hypermotard doesn't seem to be like sclambler's. But for me it was not a problem. I built a new frame and installed suitable tank.

Scrambler must be powerful. It must be light and must have the right sound. There is an engine in Hypermotard, that is matching all those criterias. I think it is the most powerful engine that has ever left the factory of Ducati. In addition it is equipped in dry clutch, which is visible and has a new light touch.  I made a few changes in intake system and exhaust sytem, then remaped of ECU.

Tank is in 100% made of aliminium.  It is my first aluminium work. I never made anything in aluminium before. Thus a few square meters of wasted aluminium, 2 weeks of work and finally it was ready. I am a proud owner of self made aluminium tank. It is closed tight, and it has much bigger capacity. Motorcycle is ready for a longer ride, independent from gas stations.

Everything silver in this motocycle is made out of aluminium; the ID numbers, windshield, covers, fenders, etc. Aluminium has not been polished on purpose, but left as Inox. This was to emphasize the “hand made” look.   Exhaust sytem is in 100% titanium.  I am lucky to have a friend who makes exhaust systems for living. However he has never made it in titanium. It took only a moment to convince him. 2 weeks later he made his first titanium exhaust system. It weighs 2,2kg. and the sound... you have to listen to it once.

Before everything else – it has to ride. It has to glide.. To make it happen the total weight is lower of over 20Kg. Suspension is the best; rear – Ohlins, front Marzocchi, steering dumper– Bitubo, breaks – Brembo. Rear swingarm is built based on the original Hypermotard, but it is more rigid by adding a few elements.

The seat is made of leather. It was a 40 year old moto-jacket that I found in flea market. Front light comes from Suzuki GS 400 of 1976. I added the cover and safety net to make it resistant from stones etc. Rear light has been built in the frame and does not disturb the motocycle shape. Blinkers are built into the steering wheel yet very well visible. Steering wheel – a real enduro the plate is held by hand made clips. Boosters moved up and back not to wear it down in the curves. Tires are good for any surface; good and not that good.

How does it ride`? Imagine 160kg of motocycle, equipped in power of 100ph, super suspension and breaks. Hyperscrambler eats for breakfast all “prêt-a- porter” Scramblers. I feel I have achieved my target; I created a wolf in sheep’s skin. A motocycle of incredible capabilities, yet classic in style.
