This is essentially a brand new bike with some subtle customisation to make her sound delicious and stand out from the crowd.
I bought the original V7 Racer II brand new in Dec 2015. She sat in my garage covered and on a trickle charger and run up monthly for 18 months while I amassed the parts from outside the UK, and worked to towards retirement to have time to make the modifications that I wanted. The cosmetic changes are subtle but effective as you can see in the photos and they make this a real head turner wherever I go. I even get positive comments turning up as a visitor at a local Classic bike event where using the wrong bolt results in hours of derision from die hard restorers.
The look and the sound make this bike, Number 102 of 1000, totally unique. What you can’t see is the custom map, created specifically for this bike and exhaust in California which provides much more power throughout the range and eliminates the horrendous flat spot at 3000rpm in the Guzzi factory map making this an eminently more fun pleasurable ride than a standard V7II Racer. I will supply the ECU programming unit with the custom map and a memory stick with the original factory map as part of the sale.
She has a covered genuine 755 miles from new and is in great condition. I have the original parts that I’ve removed so you could take her back to standard although quite why you would want to do that I don’t know.
She is currently on SORN as a spinal injury and resulting nerve damage that has not fully recovered, mean I cannot ride her. Hence the 755miles and reason for sale!
I am of course happy to put on a brand new MOT on for your peace of mind if you want. The private plate in the photo is now on retention, not included, and not for sale.
