'78 pro build R100 cafe racer by 'Side Rock Cycles'. This was commissioned by be around 4 years ago, I've done around 4600 miles and changed the oil every 1000 miles.

The bike was shown at an MCN show and I've put a picture up of the spec from this show. The only two things that would be different are the Valeo starter failed very soon after the build and I replaced with a more expensive japanese Nippon Denso unit. The other would be the exhausts have been ceramic coated after the powder coating started to get affected by the heat.

I've uploaded a running vid here:

As a pro build this has obviously been stripped and built from the ground up. Attention to detail is excellent and Pete at Side Rock is superb at dealing with OCD twats like me. Engine re-build by BMW specialist and has been faultless. No leaks or problems whatsoever. Motogadget unit and switchgear. Paint and carbon dipped rims by 'Wicked Coatings' - Check them out if you haven't seen their work.

There are only two issues - One is a mark on the exhaust from the rear brake where it can make contact when braking over bumps. The other is the front brake master cylinder needs repainting as it is flaking off. I just haven't had time to do it, which is the main reason for the sale. I have no time to ride it.

All in all a fantastic looking bike and it's really built very well. I will be sad to see it go. Any questions please ask.
