For sale is a rare, limited edition 1 of 15 T3 Racing ACE 904S Thruxton Special. This bike is number 3/15. The bike is as a result of the collaboration between T3 Racing and the Ace Cafe Stonebridge Motor Company. This is no ordinary Thruxton with off the shelf parts bolted on. This is an engineering masterpiece, with only the race standard components used in the build and production. This bike should not be confused with many other “pro-build” Truxton’s as it is not the result of adding some nice paint and a bunch of expensive parts.

Engine: T3 started with a standard stock Triumph Thruxton and set about revamping its twin cylinder engine so it now produces a 35% increase in power, and more mid-range performance, with 80 bhp at the back wheel. Big Bore 904 cc engine is fitted with Wisco big bore kit, which increases the cubic capacity by 41cc above the standard model, together with high lift camshafts and re-engineered throttle bodies for increased fuel and air. The generator has been lighted by 500 grams to increase crankshaft drag from neutral throttle.  The engine is also fitted with high performance air filters. Engine remapped and dyno’d for maximum performance.

Chassis:  The bike is fitted with T3 Racing front forks which consist of unique 43mm USD forks fitted with 20mm road and track cartridge units, 3-way valving kits for increased adjustability designed and crafted by Nitron Suspension.  The rear suspension units have also been changed to 3-way adjustable systems supplied by Nitron.  Top and bottom yokes are manufactured by Jameston Engineering using high grade T6 aluminium and anodised in matching paint.

Wheels:  Existing rear hub is utilised to incorporate a 4.25 inch rim.  Front wheel is manufactured by Talon Engineering under license from T3 and is a complete bespoke unit using a 3.25 x 17 inch rim and bespoke hub.  The wheel combination enables the fitting of 160/70/17 and 120/60/17 Pirelli Diablo Rosso performance tyres.  Rims are anodised satin black.

Brakes: Manufactured by ISR under license from T3 these are 6 piston mono block calipers offer great feeling and predictability through the twin floating Braking 310mm wavy discs.  Rear calliper is Thruxton original with new rear Braking disc.  Black bar aluminium mounted brake reservoir.

Bodywork: All bodywork is original with new paintwork painted by Horton Designs in high quality paint and airbrush work. Carbon front mudguard with custom paint. Other modifications include Alcantara seat, bar end mirrors, tail tidy, brake and clutch levers are ASV fully adjustable. Handmade stainless steel custom short exhaust (Thruxton stock MOT friendly exhausts also supplied).

Switch and Electrical gear:  the bike utilises widely available switch gear supplied as new. LED indicators front bar end rear shock mounted.  LED rear brake and running light. All rewiring is carried out by an authorised auto electrician.  Speedo is motoscope classic analog speedo from Motogadget with additional digital functions (black face).
