1980 Honda CX500A Cafe Racer

The project took just over 4 years to complete using two donor bikes of the same model and year.

The bike is build fresh with minimal miles on the clock since restoration. Full electric start with Moto Gadget M-Unit command system.

Front End: Suzuki GSXR 750 black anodized forks by Cognito Moto. 

Triple Clamp: Cognito Moto custom triple tree conversion kit.

Speedo: Moto Gadget M-Scope Mini Speedo

Indicators: Rizoma Bar end indicators / Rear LED stop and turn signal strip

Headlight: Bates Style 5.75" Bulb Headlight

Controls: Micro momentary push button handle bar controls.

Levers: OEM Suzuki GSXR Clutch and Brake master cylinder levers.

Brake Fluid reservior: Rizoma Mini Brake Reservoir

Wheels: Front - Sun Rim 120x60 / Rear - 160x60 Black 40 spoke rims. 

Tyres: Metzeller Racetec RR

Rear Shock: Yamaha R3 mono shock

Gas Tank: Benelli Mojave 650 Tank, modified to fit CX frame.

Gear and Brake levers - Performance machine Gear And Brake foot levers with custom rear set linkages.

Gas Cap: Motone Monza Stainless Gas Cap

Paint: Subaru Blue / Black metal flake

Engine: Stripped and cleaned, new seals and gaskets. Metal flake grey engine coat.

Seat: Black Alcantara suede diamond stitch with black vinyl accents.

Battery: Lithium Ion Battery placed in seat hump.

Carburettors: OEM carbs cleaned and re-jetted with new seals. Airbox removed replaced with velocity stacks.

Side Mount Licence Plate with micro LED plate light.

Mudguard: Custom front mudguard powder coated black with hand bent mounts.

Exhausts: Custom down tube headers with Harley Sportster slash cut exhausts, heat wrapped. Baffle inside.

The bike is fully MOT’d and Taxed. Have applied for Historic Registration Tax Class.
