2007 Ducati Sport Classic Monoposto.
This started life a cat D GT1000, but has been completely rebuilt to SC1000 Monoposto spec with full engine rebuild, dry clutch and brand new Monoposto swinging arm and single shock. I wanted to start with a GT for this build as the SC1000 have indents in the subframe which are really unattractive when you expose the subframe with an Imola seat - I’m fussy like that!!
I’ve build quite a lot of top end custom cafe racers over the years which have been featured Bikeshed shows, Magazines, Bikeexif, but a change in circumstances and a lack of time means I’m thinning down my bike collection and I’ve not got time to finish this one. The hard work’s has been done - you just need to pick the finishing touches!!
Frame delugged, battery moved under seat and freshly powder coated.
Engine totally rebuilt with open race style dry clutch. Never been started. Rebuild by Pro-twins Ducati dealt and I have receipts for £4K for the work. MWR high performance airbox conversion.
Billet triple clamps and Ohlins FGRT Forks with billet knuckle and black anodised tubes
Brembo M4 radial calipers and RCS Radial Brake and Clutch master cylinders and black braided hoses (all brand new).
999S fresh powder coated wheels and spacer conversion kit.
Ignition moved under subframe and Motogadget Speedo tank mounted (I’m the only person in the world doing this and it looks sooo good).
Adjustable Rearsets, Carbon fibre clip-ons
Imola seat unit, Bates style headlight, Rizoma fluid reservoirs, Motogadget bar end indicators, tail tidy.
I’ve got all paperwork, all keys and key card, and most parts needed to finish the job.
