Tell us about your bike

Inital donor bike was a white Honda FMX 650 2007 with 10800 miles. Only the engine, frame and swingarm retained, a worthwhile sacrifice.

Aprilia SXV black nitride USD forks, Ice Parts triple clamps and Renthal fat bars with spacers and clamps,

Beringer-Aerotech front super moto racing brake and hard anodised black marchesini race wheels, shimmed for the honda swing arm. Rear brake replaced with Nissin SXV slace and master with wavy brake rotor. Tyres are tubesless Continental Twinduro.

Twinduro's are a bit knobly on small wheels, I was planning to change to Anakee wilds or TKC70's.

Matching Beringer-Aerotech clutch perch and Venhill cable.

Hagon custom rear shock.

LI-5 Varley red top race battery for lightness and size, fitted with hardwired charge jack and C-Tec Li Charger.

Custom 2-1 exhaust, internally silenced Akrapovic titanium megaphone silencer.

Original honda ignition and steering lock used as seat lock and ignition, located on the left sub frame.

Motogadget MO unit blu fitted for all electronics, side stand cut out functioning, including MO unit speed sensor (discreet on front wheel) and MO unit mini speed display fitted to handle bar with all inputs (neutral, indicators, high beam, rpm, odo, trip, speed).

Mikuni TM40 flat slide race carb, with Samco inlet and Ram Air filter.

Ducati domino throttle and cable from Venhill, cam profile modified to suit.

Honda NS125 tank, modified for frame, with locking flush cap and reserve petrol tap.

Horn fitted discretely in frame below tank.

Custom gel inlay seat with quilted alicantara.

Clip on pillion/luggage tail.

Rear subframe custom made to house electronics, attached with titanium bolts.

Rear set mounts hand fabricated and hard anodized.

Previous owner, an aerospace engineer carried out the major engineering and I considered myself lucky to acquire this bike from him when he moved abroad.

Since owning I have fitted left switch gear, horn, speedo, display, LED headlight and rear indicators, along with Motogadget MO unit blu electronics with a full harness build to motogadget specs (drawings available).

Also fabriacted swing arm mounted reg plate bracket for MOT favour as well as detachable mirrors. (zero advisories at a strict centre).

Now unfortunately I must sell her in a timely manner for a similar move abroad (hence the price), but this bike is perfect for anyone wanting a finished project that they can put a stamp on themselves.
