KEY FACTS

●     This Ducati Monster M750 is a bespoke café racer, rebuilt by Redmax Speedshop and affectionately known as ‘Zesty Zena’.

●     It is powered by a 748cc L-twin Desmodromic engine producing around 64hp, coupled to a five-speed transmission.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

●     Finished in eye-catching Lemon Sorbet Yellow with a black stripe, this Ducati started life as a 2000 Ducati Monster M750, the last of the carburettor models, and was rebuilt by Redmax Speedshop into a bespoke café racer for the 2019 Bike Shed show.

●     It was stripped down for the frame, swingarm, linkages, and wheels to be powder coated in flat chrome, and fitted with a Redmax Speedshop Sport Classic fibreglass tank and café racer-style seat base, cowl, and fairing.

●     Upgrades include a Nitron rear shock absorber, Brembo rear brakes, Tarozzi rearsets, an Accossato quick-action throttle, an Accossato front master cylinder and clutch, a custom fender and bracket, Rizoma reservoirs, Motogadget indicators, a Koso speedometer and tachometer, an airbox delete, a Dynojet kit, Danmoto custom exhausts, and a black Alcantara-trimmed seat with yellow stitching and ‘Redmax’ detailing.

●     Included with the motorcycle will be its service record, a Bike Shed show plaque, and a collection of MOT test certificates and maintenance invoices.

●     Please note: the cherished plate shown on the vehicle is not included in the sale. It has reverted to the registration ‘W258 KVL’.

CONDITION

●     In superb condition as can be see by the photos.

●     Starts on the button and rides beautifully.

●     Zero mechanical or electrical faults.

●     The most recent MOT test was on 26 June 2023 at an indicated 505 miles, which was a first-time pass with no advisories.

SERVICE HISTORY

●     The most recent service was carried out in June 2023, when Hub Motorcycles replaced the engine oil, oil filter, clutch fluid, battery, and tyres, before servicing the brakes and cleaning the chain. Two new Michelin Tyres also fitted. Less than 100 miles has been covered since fitting.

●     Prior to this, in March 2021 Desmo Shed changed the engine oil and filter, brake fluid, clutch fluid, spark plugs, cables, and brake lines and also replaced all of the engine’s belts including the cam belt.

●     The bike was serviced in June 2019 by Redmax Ducati who changed the oil and filter, the spark plugs, and renewed all of the belts.

●     In January 2017, the previous owner performed a full service on the bike, including the renewal of the engine belts.
